Your questions answered
Frequently asked questions
How is your approach different from a standard relaxation massage?
Relaxation can be part of the experience, but my sessions are structured around your goals, movement, areas of tension, and relevant daily habits. I do not diagnose or claim to treat the underlying cause of a medical condition.
Will the treatment be painful?
Some techniques may feel intense, but treatment should remain tolerable. I will check in with you and adjust the pressure at any time. Please tell me immediately if you feel sharp, unusual, or worsening pain.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies with your goals, response, and circumstances. We can review progress after each visit and decide together whether further sessions are useful. Persistent or worsening symptoms should be assessed by an authorised healthcare professional.
What should I expect immediately after a session?
Responses vary. Some people notice easier movement, while others may experience temporary soreness for 24–48 hours. Soreness is not proof that treatment is working. Contact a healthcare professional if symptoms are severe, unusual, or persistent.
I have an acute injury or inflammation. Should I come in?
For a recent injury, marked swelling, severe pain, loss of function, neurological symptoms, fever, or other concerning signs, seek medical assessment before booking bodywork. If you are unsure, contact your doctor or emergency services as appropriate.
Do you offer online coaching?
Yes. Online sessions focus on education, everyday habits, workstation ergonomics, movement awareness, and self-care strategies. They do not include medical diagnosis.
Do you accept health insurance?
I operate as a private practitioner and do not bill insurance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur the fee stated in the booking terms.
Is your practice medically certified?
ZeroInflammations is not a medical service. I provide bodywork, health-habit coaching, and educational support. I do not diagnose medical conditions, and my services do not replace assessment or treatment from an authorised healthcare professional.
